Since 2004, when architectural designer Chad Spangler joined the team
at Dan DeJiacomo Custom homes, the majority of the homes we’ve
built have been designed in-house. We believe an integrated approach
to design and building is the best way to create homes that reflect the
lifestyle, taste, and budget of our homeowners. Since many of our homes
are built in mountain and lake communities, this custom design ability
allows us to create homes that work with best with the unique topography
of each lot, with a particular focus on maximizing any available views.
While each plan is custom designed for our homeowners, there are
some common features that we strive for in each home:
-Open floor plans with plenty of natural light
-Exteriors that look at home in a mountain or lake setting
-Well designed kitchens and luxurious bathrooms
-Unique and varied ceilings; not too tall, not too short
-Terrace levels that don’t feel like “basements”
Plans for Sale
If you like our designs but you are planning to build a home outside of our
building area, we offer a number of our plans for sale. We can also modify
these plans for you or start a new custom design from scratch. The majority
of our homes are designed for out-of-state customers, so we are well versed
in the process of designing a home via phone and internet communications.
